SCA CSP Brewing-Professional Certificate

Under mentor Ye Kuang’s guidance, I earned the SCA CSP Brewing-Professional certificate. A major part of the practical work was syphon (vacuum) brewing on infrared beam heaters—managing heat stability, timing, and agitation so the upper and lower chambers behave predictably. We also worked through pour-over drippers, immersion brewers, and batch-style filter setups, always tying equipment choices to grind profile, brew ratio, water quality, and extraction. I’m looking forward to using that toolkit for more consistent recipes and clearer tasting notes in daily brewing.
